ylwa's 30th

It's been a while since I posted. It's a bit crazy right now. Less than a month before we move, a zillion things to do at work and only five days left to do them and a whole apartment to pack. And in between all our todo's we got tons of people to see, hang out with etc. This weekend we celebrated an early Christmas with my family. No photos from there yet, you'll have to make due with pictures from our close friend Ylwa's awesome thirtieth b-day party last weekend.

friday

This has been one party filled weekend. I never thought I had it in me. anyway.

On Friday we went out for a three course dinner at the restaurant where we had our wedding brunch. It was a freebie, since they forgot a few promised things that day. the place was almost empty, only us and two other couples. The food was great (even though they once again forgot we don't eat meat, oh well).

next stop: some small club on söder to see a friend's band.

after the show we hung out and talked. when the place closed we took the tube home.  

a royal scottish visit

this weekend we got a long overdue visit from our glorious scots:

we met up on friday afternoon after work

peter had just bought a kindle. he just had to show it off. 

after a beer at the smallest bar in sundbyberg, we went to a tapas place. awesome food, but dark! 

after that we were off to bishops arms for a beer. suz had a small one, mine was somewhat larger.

later in the day we went for a walk.

then we were too tired to do anything, watched some family guy and went to bed. 

they left early this morning. now they're back in edinburgh. we've spent the day reading books, petting cats and tried to tidy up the flat.

and that's it for my wednesday night. always nice to be there, only thing that clouded the visit was my stomach ache. oh well, i guess you can't have it all. 

a bit of company

a few friends met on Monday to see the season finale of the swedish dating (ehh) show "lite sällskap" (a bit of company). it just had to be celebrated!
